RAISE Forum Help

The RAISE Forums allow people to build interactive communities. The key actions of any forum are, of course, posting, replying, and viewing messages. The process of doing each of these tasks is as follows.

I. Posting a new topic
To post a new forum topic, enter the forum in which you want to post it and click on the 'Post New Topic' link on the 'Forum Options' menu. Please note that you have to be a registered user to post new forum topics. The 'Post New Topic' form will appear, where you can enter the topic subject and your message. You can write your message in a text-editor (like Ms Word or Notepad) and paste your message into the 'Post New Topic' form; this way you do not need to be online while writing your message. Press on the 'Post Message' button when completed.

Check the 'Subscribe to topic' checkbox if you would like to be notified via e-mail if anyone replies to your new message. You can disable this option after you have posted your topic.

II. Replying to a topic message
To reply to a message/topic, click the 'Reply' link located in each message within a topic discussion. The 'Reply To Topic' form will appear, where you can enter your message in reply to the original message. You can write your message in a text-editor (like Ms Word or Notepad) and paste your message into the 'Reply To Topic' form; this way you do not need to be online while writing your message. Press on the 'Post Message' button when completed.

Check the 'Subscribe to topic' checkbox if you would like to be notified via e-mail if anyone replies to your new message. You can disable this option after you have posted your topic.

III. Search Forums
The RAISE forums allow you to search the forums for topics and messages that are of particular interest to you.
