Southern Arts is the arts development agency for central southern England, covering the county areas of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, and South East Dorset.
Its function is to provide regional support, advice and funding for arts activity.

| The regional arts boards are currently going through a process of restructure - moving from being independent bodies reporting to the Arts Council to being regional arms of the Arts Council. |
