To visit people in their homes within Guildford & District and also to see clients at the Age Concern Office at the Riverside Cafe to give Information and Advice on Benefits - Attendance Allowance, MIG, Carers Allowance etcand about services available to keep people living independently for as long as they choose.Hours are Monday & Friday 10am to 4pm,plus one other weekday by arrangement.It is envisaged 1.5 days in office and 1.5 days visiting.

£14,137 to £15,035 p.a (pro rata 18 hours)

Essential:-Good knowledge of Welfare Benefits/Two years experience of giving advice/Lateral thinking/Regular use of vehicle/Clean Driving LicenceDesirable:-Knowledge of Guildford and District's organisations for the elderly/CAB experience/Computer knowledge - Word
