Job Title:

Project Support Worker (37 hrs pw) Ref: HC 416J

Job Description:

Directly supporting projects funded by the programme, the worker will create networking opportunities between projects and sectors, respond to individual needs for training or help with policies, systems and monitoring by using networks and contacts and provide financial support in terms of meeting programme spend requirements.

Salary Details:

£14,532 - 19,185 (C1)

Person Description:

CFM is looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to support its programme for children and their families in Medway for the next three years. The postholder will be required to have the ability to work independently and will be supporting 35+ projects to held them to meet monitoring and financial requirements of the programme. Interview date: day/eve

Organisation summary:

The Children’s Fund Medway is part of a national government scheme, managed by the Department of Education and Skills, to improve the well-being of children. Children’s Fund Programmes were launched in 2000 and Children’s Fund Medway followed in April 2002. The programme is funded until March 2006.The programme supports preventive services for 5 – 13 year olds who may be at risk of social exclusion. Children’s Fund Medway is lead by a Partnership Board made up of voluntary, statutory and community representatives.
