Bureau Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Manager, preferably with advice work experience and qualified to act as an Advice Session Supervisor, to ensure delivery of service from both the main office and outreaches to meet Citizens Advice and Legal Services Commission requirements. We need someone with a commitment to providing a quality service and experience of supporting and supervising other workers.THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT FOR NINE MONTHS.

Salary Details:

£2,004 p.m (local authority scale SO2)

Person Description:

- understand and be commited to Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies- ability to develop, monitor and maintain management information systems and procedures- Experience of monitoring service delivery against agreed targets- Ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information and produce verbal and written reports- Knowledge of local community profile, needs and resources- Ability to manage finances under the guidance of the Treasurer- Ability/experience of management of service provision- Willing to earn and maintain the trust of those people with whom the bureau deals, especially funding bodies and donors- Knowledge of human resource management, including recruitment, training development and motivation, particularly in the voluntary sector- Ability to lead and to contribute to the team combined with willingness to learn and develop
