Job Description:
|
Will be required: - to take responsibility for and lead all strategic, cyclical, action, project and contingency planning, by taking our work and teams forward to meet and overcome the challenges faced by an organisation with an annual turnover of around £400k.- to be a figurehead, representative and advocate for Guildford Action in networking and liaison with prospective funders, other agencies and statutory bodies.- to draw up a funding strategy for Guildford Action in consultation with Directors and Core Managers.- to prepare, agree and present bids at appropriate times to maintain and expand revenue for Guildford Action from existing and new funders, tying in with their funding cycles.- to keep Directors and Core Managers abreast of statutory developments that could affect Guildford Action funds, policies and work.- to report to the Board of Trustees.- to ensure monitoring and evaluation takes place as required by funders and the Board.- to encourage team working, collaboration, participation in planning, evaluation, decisions and service delivery.- to ensure proper project and service management and administration of all existing and new projects and services.
