(Please call for the office for a job application pack)To facilitate and co-ordinate the WBRTP including organising meetings and providing agendas and minutes.To work closely with the members of the RTP, and to identify and liaise with other appropriate organisations as and when necessary in order to progress the work of the Partnership.To Produce financial reports for each project, and progress reports in advance of appropriate meetings, for presentation at those meetings.To advise local organisations on developing projects in line with the Action Plan, and applying for all appropriate funds.To develop the remits of the Partnership, Steering Group and Working Groups.To produce full Annual Reports.To attend the Countryside Agency Rural Transport Officers Network meetings and Training sessions.

Specific Skills:Project management skillsThe motivation to organise a work programme aimed at carrying out instructions and to report on action takenEffective presentation skills.Ability to work under his/her own initiative and to set and work to realistic goals and time-scales.Competent user of word processor, spreadsheet and database programmes.fFinancial and budget management skills.The ability to conduct meaningful consultation with voluntary sector organisations, local communities and local authorities and also the ability to promote with each of the various organisations the importance of their role and the added value and sustainability that the Partnerships can bring to rural transport solutions.

As the Rural Community Council (RCC) for Berkshire, CCB is affiliated to Action for Communities in Rural England (ACRE) and works closely with the other Rural Community Councils in the south east through SERCC (South East Rural Community Councils) our regional body. CCB has a strong working relationship with the Countryside Agency. To achieve our objectives, CCB works in partnership with Local Authorities and statutory service providers, voluntary organisations, community groups and local businesses: CCB supports its partners with skills in community involvement and consultation, social inclusion project planning and management, signposting, fund identification and bid writing.Our vision is of thriving, diverse and sustainable communities and a strong, well resourced voluntary sector responsive to local need in each part of Berkshire.
