COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the existing BCA team and specifically to:• Help to identify the problems faced by socially excluded people in small rural communities• Encourage and facilitate inclusive community appraisals in parishes, villages and market towns• Develop local community partnerships and projects .

Salary Details:

Salary £18,582 (NJC Scale 5 point 2.5) plus 10% in lieu of employers pension contribution. 35 hours per week.

Person Description:

The post holder will need an understanding and experience of community development work as well as knowledge of rural issues.The successful candidate will be based at the BCA offices in Bierton with opportunities for flexible working
