Community Development Adviser

Job Description:

We are looking for someone to;* provide support and guidance to new and existing voluntary and community groups,* promote local voluntary and community action and development,* to keep up to date with voluntary sector issues, developments and good practice* be a committed member of a small team

Salary Details:

full time, £18,000 - £20,000 depending on experience. 6% pension contribution

Person Description:

Experience of working with voluntary and community groups, project development and delivery.Ability to identify funding opportunities and work with groups to access them.An understanding of management, organisational issues and charity law requirementsAn understanding of and commitment to equality and diversity.Good communication, administrative and interpersonal skills
