Practice Links Manager - 6 Months maternity cover

Job Description:

Community Development Foundation is seeking maternity cover for a Practice Links Manager to develop our links with community development practitioners in the South of England and West Midlands regions. Tihis post is an opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work with others to learn from community development experience and apply these insights to a range of government policies, including civil renewal, social inclusion, economic regeneration and community cohesion. The post will be maternity cover for the current postholder, and work closely with the newly-appointed Practice Links Manager for the North of England and East Midlands, based in Leeds.

Salary Details:

£25,550 - £29,461 pa

Person Description:

You will have: recent experience as a community development worker, preferably as a senior worker in a field work setting; a proven commitment to promoting equality and tackling discrimination of all kinds.; experience of working with Black and minority ethnic and other disadvantage groups would be particularly valued; an ability to analyse practical experience to identify significant issues and opportunities for shared learning; a clear understanding of the theoretical basis of community development; excellent analytical and communication
