Young Carers Development Worker

Job Description:

The main aims of the post are to contact and oversee work with young carers, on a 1 to 1 basis and in groups, to endeavour to meet their needs for support and to establish and work with a network of contacts and agencies and volunteers.

Salary Details:

£21,282 p.a. (£11.03/hr) from April 03, 37 hour week, 5 weeks AL

Person Description:

It is anticipated that the person appointed will be a qualified social worker, teacher or youth worker or have relevant experience in one of these areas.
