Job Description:

Reporting relationshipsReports directly to: Chairperson of ROCCResponsible directly for (staff):Training ManagerOther postsMain purposeOverall leadership and management of this independent, second tier, charity working across the southern central region.Key accountabilities1.Lead & manage day-to-day activities to ensure the effective use of all resources, financial viabiity and legislative compliance.2. Seek oppportunities through bids, contracts and core grant applications to maintain and extend income for core costs and organisational development.3. Lead, motivate and direct staff to delliver agreed organisational objectives and targets.4. Lead and manage the delivery of quality services to member organisations to communicating apropriate information and resonding to varied needs of member organisations.5. Liaise with a range of statutory and voluntary sector organisations representing and promoting the interests of ROCC and member organisations.6. Manage & participate in ROCC's consultancy services to deliver contract requirements, innovative and high quality work.7. Co-ordinate services to the Management committee, ensuring compliance with requirements.8. In consultation with the management committee, co-ordinate and contribute to the development of plans to define and establish organisational objectives.9. Maintain and overview of Social Policy and with in a range of settings and activities promote the interests of supported housing, ROCC and ROCC members.10. Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, members, funders, and partner agencies.11. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.This is a description of the job as it is presently constucted. This will be periodically reviewed and updated to ensure that the job description fully reflects the duties and responsibilities required fo the post holder.
