About National ChangeUp

With effect from mid March 2006 this page has been replaced by a new website www.changeup.org.uk that not only includes all the previous information but also provides an excellent updating service of national ChangeUp developments and links to ChangeUp information in other regions.

The new website for Capacitybuilders can be accessed here - www.capacitybuilders.org.uk . This site will be fully live from early April 2006.

For local consortia that wish to download the ChangeUp logo for their "local infrastructure development plans" there is a choice of a colour logo or a mono logo . There is also a set of guidelines on the use of these logos that can be downloaded .

InJanuary 2004, Defra commissioned Rural Community Councils ineach shire county to form a rural consortium and to prepare a ruralaction plan with a promise of funding to help implement appropriaterural projects. Subsequently, Defra undertook a national evaluation of thisearly spend programme. This evaluation is particularly helpful in assessingdevelopment of partnerships and the Regional Consortium has recommendedthis tool to all local consortia and has commissioned work to ensure that all consortia have the opportunity to experience the benefits and use the partnership development toolkit.
