RAISE Response DLR August 2007 RAISE Response DLR August 2007
RAISE is pleased to participate in the consultation of the Discrimination Law Review. However, we are very disappointed that the consultative approach taken by CLG has ignored the Voluntary/Community Sector (VCS) in the events that it has hosted. The views within this response take into account comments received from the RAISE membership and include opinions developed from RAISE’s involvement in setting up a regional Equality and Diversity Network.

Social Inclusion Statement Social Inclusion Statement
SIPSE has designed this Social Inclusion Statement for consultation. We want to encourage you to tell us about the aspects of social inclusion you know about - where you work, where you live. We would like to ask you a few questions and have devised a questionnaire to help us ensure that the statement reflects the true picture of social exclusion in the region. We welcome any views you have on the statement and, in particular, we are asking organisations, businesses and individuals to consider the questions on the questionnaire. We are seeking views by Friday 6th July 2007.
