Hours:24 hours a week (job-share considered)The post is for an initial 3 year contractRunnymede CAB is looking for a generalist adviser to provide advice and information to women in HMP Bronzefield. This is an innovative and exciting post offering the opportunity to develop skills and experience at the forefront of the drive to reduce re-offending rates. The post is designed to address the wide spectrum of problems offenders face as a consequence of custody and advice areas will cover many of the re-offending pathways, dealing with women newly arrived in custody as well as those preparing for release.The successful applicant would work in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organizations providing services to the prison as well as the existing weekly CAB volunteer outreach.HMP Bronzefield is a new purpose-built prison for women and has been specially designed to provide an inclusive, pleasant environment. Potential applicants are welcome to contact the Bureau for an informal chat and will be encourage to visit the prison in advance of any interview.

Person Description:

Applicants should have a minimum1 yearâs experience of generalist CAB advice. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently will be required.
