Job Description:

The main mission of RAISE is to enable voluntary/community organisations in the South East to influence regional policy wherever it is made or implemented for the benefit of the people they serve. As the Communications Manager the post holder will lead the development of and implementation of a communication and ICT strategy for RAISE. The strategy will need to support the organisation to enable it to engage (two ways) effectively with its members and stakeholders, manage information efficiently and maximise the use of the information to influence policy.

Salary £29,010 NJC Scale 37 + 10% pension

Person Description:
|
The candidate will:â¢Work with the policy officers to ensure that the RAISE perspective on external policies is communicated to the RAISE membership and the voluntary/community sector (VCS) in the South East Region through the RAISE established communication channels;â¢Demonstrate a high level of communication, interpersonal and presentation skills including experience of writing accurate and concise reports at a Board level;â¢Be able to present information in different formats for a wide range of audiences;â¢Be able to demonstrate your skills in the development and content management of websites.
