Homelessness ReportThis report by Richard Matthewman, originally published in 2002, was updated in February 2005. Despite the affluence of the South East, homelessness, in different forms and for varying reasons, impacts on a significant number of people and is a major cause of social exclusion. The report can be used as a tool to support key regional, sub regional and local organisations in tackling issues relating to homelessness. The report looks in depth at the numbers of homelessness people in the South East, the causes and the cost of this. The report also explains the differing approaches to homelessness prevention. |
